  1. Splitsies?
Cause: Split ends can be caused from both not trimming or tying hair up while it’s still wet.
Remedy: Cut, Seal, Strengthen. Cut the losses and those ends. Seal the ends after a fresh cut with Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Fresh Cut Mender. Strengthen the hair with Olaplex 3 once per week.
  2. Started from the Bottom, Now We’re Here…
    Cause:
Color can look lighter at your roots top than at the bottom as most people wear their hair up most of the time. This gives the sun ample chance to lighten and oxidize the exposed top of the head.
Remedy: Ask your colorist to gloss “down” the top and highlight “up” the ends. Ends of hair should always be lighter!
Bonus Tip: Next summer, wear a hat or diversify your summer style so all your hair gets a chance to lighten evenly.Has Summer Left Your Hair Less Than Lustrous? A Guide to Repairing Summer Damaged Hair -- Verite PublishedFind more hair tips from CK Karkhanis that we live for here.

  3. Blonde Ambition
Cause: Pool, sun, and ocean water make your blonde less “clean”.
Remedy: Detox your blonde with Oribe Cleanse Clarifying Shampoo once a week. The volcanic ash polishes away unwanted minerals and dirt that can make dim your blonde coloring.
  4. Don’t Be Thirsty
Cause: Everything from heat, and climate, to salt water, and diet can leave one with dry, thirsty hair.
Remedy: Post salon service, inject your hair with a Kérastase Fusio-Dose, customized to your hair needs. Stylist can choose a primary need (such as nutrition/softness ) and secondary need  (such as color brilliance) to create the perfect blend for your hair.
